Product Owner Chapter Lead (Delivery Lead) – Credit Cards & Personal Lending Tribe

The Tribe

The Credit Cards and Personal Lending Tribe (CCPL) is responsible for the end to end management of ANZ’s credit card and personal lending customers and products. Our mission is to deliver best in class unsecured lending products and experiences that provide the best way to pay and borrow for our customers, through the energy and creativity of our people.

 

The Role
As Delivery Lead with the responsibility of being a Product Owner Chapter Lead you will be accountable for:

  • Leading multiple squads and delivery product owners to ensure CCPL can deliver at pace
  • Understand our business strategy and deliver against our set agenda/key pillars   
  • Working with the end to end CCPL Tribe and broader value chain partners to deliver, embed and bring to life our tribe’s priorities
  • Optimising existing end-to-end customer journeys and improve the customer experience to ensure our propositions remain relevant and competitive
  • Developing expertise and capability across your chapter (your team) i.e. domain knowledge/delivery of change
  • Work across the various back end, front end teams and key business partners to run a large strategic programme to deliver outcomes to customers and the market
  • Co-ordinate and manage intra-dependences across various streams of work. Prioritise demand of the various CCPL initiatives
  • At times get into the detail and deliver change as required
  • Working through ambiguity and the ever changing landscape of product management
  • Be a champion and lead the Tribe in driving a strong delivery culture, ensure commitments and timelines are met

What you bring to the Product Owner role:

  • Demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • Product Knowledge on Credit Cards & Personal Lending 
    • Understand how the product operate across the value chain, including the systems that support the product
    • Strong commercial knowledge of key unsecured lending business drivers
    • Strong knowledge and experience in delivering large scale change
    • Proven change management and implementation expertise
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate to all stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including experience of leading, coaching and mentoring a team
  • Demonstrable experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Programme management, project management or initiative lead work
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to effectively influence outcomes in an autonomous way
  • Ability to explore customer needs in a data-driven way, develop and implement innovative solutions, test the outcomes, and iterate.
  • A good understanding the Financial Services industry (including the relevant regulators and governing frameworks)
  • Vision + experience preferred but not essential for the right candidate
  • An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants and putting them at the center of everything you do
  • A desire to optimize customer journeys and experiences, with a focus on digital uplift
