Vendor Management Lead (Journey Expert)

The purpose of the Tribe is to make, simple, industry-leading ways for customers to send and receive payments, quickly, reliably and cost-effectively.

As the Vendor Management Lead (Journey Expert), you will be working with ANZ’s network of vendors to ensure their service offering align to expectations and follows ANZ’s best practice framework for compliance and engagement.

The role encompasses vendor relationships across both the payments and merchants streams and will incorporate the management of relationships across over two dozen vendors.

What you bring to the Tribe?

  • An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants, putting them at the centre of everything you do.
  • Existing functional experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Business Analysis, Change Management, Risk Management and/or Business/Program Implementation.
  • A willingness to broaden your experience and expertise to develop skills in the above disciplines and become more effective at optimising end-to-end customer journeys.
  • Domain knowledge of Merchants end to end business.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders.

 

Previous experience managing multiple vendor relationships, contract negotiation and pivoting across multiple priorities is highly advantageous.  

 

NOTE: ANZ has entered into a partnership with global payments specialist Worldline to offer merchant services to our customers across Australia. As part of the partnership, ANZ and Worldline will be working together to establish a new exciting and innovative merchant services company in Australia. A number of ANZ roles will move to the new company in or around December 2021. This role is in to transfer to the new company at that time.

This means that while successful applicants for this role will be employed with ANZ until in or around December 2021, you will be made an offer of employment with the new company prior to that time and your employment would then transfer to the new company (provided the offer is accepted).
