About the job
The Compliance Officer is responsible for monitoring and reporting student course variations and other matters to regulatory authorities via the Provider Registration and International Students Management System (PRISMS) as required by the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000. The position will also contribute to other compliance functions as directed. The position will be required to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, support senior staff within the team and undertake other duties as directed.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
•    Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or completion of an associate diploma and at least 2 years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
•    Current knowledge of Federal and State Government policies and regulations related to international education, training and employment (e.g. ESOS Act and National Code) and demonstrated understanding of the Australian education system.
•    Previous demonstrated relevant experience in the provision of high quality administrative and support services within a demanding, client focused environment, with some experience in a customer service position, preferably within a tertiary education environment.
