About the scholarship
If you are looking for a rigorous graduate training, and want to make a substantial research contribution to the economics of innovation, the Centre for Transformative Innovation (CTI) at Swinburne University of Technology is offering a fully funded PhD in Innovation Economics scholarships covering all fees and a stipend to suitably qualified individuals.
The scholarship is available for PhD research in all areas of innovation economics, but we specifically encourage PhD research proposals in the following areas:
1 The link between science, innovation and economic performance.
2 Intellectual property rights protection and innovation.
3 Mobility of scientists, researchers and inventors.
4 The role of public research institutions such as the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO)
Amount Awarded:
The scholarship provides a stipend of AUD 27,082 per year, is tenable for one year in the first instance, and may be renewed annually for a further two years and in special circumstances up to one additional year subject to satisfactory performance review. There is the opportunity to undertake research assistance work.
The scholarship comes with waiver of any tuition fees payable.
