About the job
We are seeking a driven and motivated Executive Assistant to provide a wide range of professional confidential support services to the Associate Deans. In this busy role, you will work under the general management of the Director Faculty Operations but take day-to-day direction from the Associate Deans. In addition, you will work in partnership with Academic Support and Research Support teams to ensure a collaborative administrative support function across the Faculty.

Your daily responsibilities will include all administrative service provision including but not limited to; coordination of meetings, preparation of meeting papers and communications, travel booking, credit card reconciliation and coordinating faculty wide events along with some diary management and resolving issues as they arise. 

From time to time, you can expect to provide back up support to the Executive Assistant to the Faculty Pro Vice Chancellor and Director Faculty Operations. 
With a thorough understanding of the Faculty and its policies and procedures, you will be able to provide informed advice to people across the University, in addition to external stakeholders and international partners. As our Executive Assistant you will be required to display discretion and diplomacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:

• A degree with subsequent relevant experience or; completion of an associate diploma and subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

• Extensive experience in an administrative support role which requires coordination of a range of functions and provision of high quality executive and senior administration support services

• Ability to research, interpret and advise on policies and procedures and achieve objectives within broad guidelines
