About the job
The Director Leads and Manages the educational and business activities for the department of Health, Science and Community within Swinburne’s Pathways and Vocational Education (PAVE). In consultation with the Executive Director, PAVE Operations the Director leads the design, development, delivery and evaluation of innovative, high quality education programs within their portfolio. 

The Director is also responsible for managing the staffing resources, operational budget and business activities for the department.

Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following:
• AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education 
• Relevant tertiary degree or vocational qualification including evidence of currency 
• Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to a large team and to work collaboratively with leaders across a tertiary institution to achieve outcomes.
