An exciting opportunity has become available for a Group Executive Chef to drive food innovation and creativity across our diverse portfolio of pubs and restaurants.
The Role
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Director – as Group Executive Chef, you will be our creative compass and an integral part of Solotel’s strategic shift to grow food-led venue concepts and ‘refresh’ opportunities within Solotel’s portfolio.
From large multi faceted venues to small community pubs, this is a varied portfolio – full of well established brands, where you can tap into your creativity and excite the senses across multiple cuisines and food offerings with our pubs at the centre of your focus.
As Group Executive Chef, a key objective will be the nurturing of talent and fostering of creativity within our Senior Chef team to empower and elevate their skills. Following our unique business rhythm, your week will include rotating across venues and getting hands on in all aspects of 1:1 mentoring with our Head Chefs, menu development, creative cooking sessions, leadership development and training.

The role also includes:
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-5 + years experience managing a multi venue portfolio as Executive Chef for some of Australia’ best restaurants or pub groups.
