As our Facility Operations Assistant Manager, you will assist with leading, mentoring and developing our large and diverse team. With excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail you will be a key part of our teams continued success.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will take good care of both our property and our wider teams at The Star Gold Coast

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Assist with the departmental rostering requirements in line with budgetary guidelines
  • Supervise, support and provide team members feedback on performance
  • Monitor departmental expenditure and the completion of business plans including budgets and forecasts
  • Assist in the recruitment, training and performance management of team members

What we are looking for:

  • Previous supervisory or management experience within a hotel
  • Familiarity working with Enterprise Agreements & Payroll systems in a highly regulated environment
  • Outstanding organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience building positive working relationships between departments and within the team
