Within the Swinburne Vocational Education context, you will be required to utilise multiple learning modes, recognition of prior learning and quality assurance under the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF).

As a Vocational Education teacher, your role will also include providing administrative elements for the efficient and effective operation of the teaching department, from course enquiry/advice through to assessing and determining the training requirements of students.

The position holder may be required to teach in the following programs:
• Certificate IV in IT Networking
Skills and experience required to teach the following subjects/ modules:
• ICASAS425A Configure and Troubleshoot Operating Systems Software
• ICANWK411A Deploy software to networked computers
• ICANWK401A Install and manage a server
• ICANWK409A Create scripts for networking

• Current industry-accepted hardware and software products
• Functions and features of OS
• Installation and configuration of systems software (Windows Server 2012, Linux Distros [CentOS])
• Prerequisites for system software installation
• System’s diagnostic software
