About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Dean, Faculty of Health, Arts and Design, the Dean will be responsible for the leadership of the School including the formulation and implementation of the strategic, academic and business plans. A critical people leadership position, the Dean will promote innovation and excellence in teaching and learning as well as the promotion of research excellence across the School and through collaboration across the university.
Skills and Experience
The appointee will be a progressive academic thinker capable of envisaging and leading an Arts school that is flexible, innovative and highly engaged. Naturally they will have outstanding research and management experience as well as demonstrating a highly collegial style and understanding of a range of teaching modes. Furthermore, they will possess the ability to further develop the School of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities’ strong links to industry and grow its external profile.
