About the opportunity

As the Commissioning Coordinator, you will be key in supporting and delivering operational activities, for designated capital works development projects within our Property & Housing directorate.

This will initially be a 12-month contract with a view to permanency or extension dependent on further project planning.  

About you:

• We are seeking an organised, systematic operator, who can see the big picture, in addition to driving and delivering the detail.
• You will have experience in successfully navigating through a complex organisation via high level stakeholder and relationship engagement and management.
• You will be a clear and effective communicator who is adept at keeping people on track and across information.
• You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work within tight timeframes, track and monitor specific actions and requirements and report effectively.
• To successfully deliver on projects, you will be based in Sydney however you WILL be required to travel extensively and regularly for periods of time across NSW and ACT.

In addition to the above you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in project management / community or health care services and/or demonstrable equivalent experience.
• Experience in project management or a high level operational role.
• Capability to work within a construction environment.
• Current Driver’s License – you will be required to work away from home for extended periods of time based on project requirements, you must have your own form of transport with comprehensive car insurance.
• NSW White Card
