Manager - External Fraud Investigations

About The Role

Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent opportunity (40 hours/week)

The Manager – External Fraud Investigations is responsible for managing a number of Investigations teams who have oversight of significant external fraud events against ANZ and ANZ customers. The teams are responsible for investigating these events, remediating customers, escalating identified risks to relevant stakeholders and liaising with Law Enforcement to recover funds on behalf of ANZ. The Manager, Fraud Investigations is responsible for supporting the team in investigating fraud events while ensuring all leader fundamentals are adhered to. The incumbent will also act as a second in charge to the Complex Investigations Lead.
 

About You

To be successful in this role, will ideally bring the following:

• Banking, Product & industry knowledge
• Risk Management experience
• Regulatory knowledge (e.g. Crimes Act, Principles of Evidence & AML/CTF)
• Experience in complex investigations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organisational skills
• Experience in managing people and an operational environment
• Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Well -developed interviewing skills
