The purpose of the Employee Experience domain is to create a seamless, engaging and highly functional experience for our employees through the provision of a world class technology environment. Employee Experience manages the technology that our employees use from devices to collaboration tools and works especially closely across the enterprise with our Infrastructure & Cloud, Security, Property and Service Centre colleagues to support our employees to be able to work remotely, from office and from branch.

The Portfolio Lead works with the Domain Lead and Technology Area Leads within the Domain to ensure the effective delivery of value to customers at pace. The Portfolio Lead ensures that the Tribes, Technology Areas & Squads have clear, measureable and aligned missions. The role involves identifying, planning & scheduling intra-domain dependencies ensuring that work is prioritised to deliver value to customers. Day to day, this role partners closely with the Employee Experience Domain Lead, Domain Architect, Technology Area Leads, Operations Lead and various other teams across Technology and the Business Divisions.

The Portfolio Lead also co-ordinates the Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process for the Domain and retains oversight of investment including trade-offs between customer needs, the strategic agenda and economic value as well as preparing clear Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for new initiatives, themes & epics.

The Portfolio Lead is responsible for managing all ‘front door’ requests into the Domain, applying a Lean portfolio and continuous improvement approach, and providing reporting on flow and efficiency of delivery within the Domain.

What you bring to the Domain:

  • Previous experience in scoping and developing plans for strategic work
  • Experience in executing business change including key stakeholder management along the journey
  • Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision making
  • Developed mechanisms to track performance and iterative value realisation on investment
  • Ability to quickly gather information on the progress of work and communicate this to key stakeholders
  • Identify, monitor and manage risks, issues and dependencies, agreeing appropriate risk responses
  • Extensive experience within a technology delivery role
  • Exceptional commercial acumen.
