About the Opportunity

Who are we?

The Engadine House is licensed for 50 children during After School Care and Vacation Care. As a specialist in Outside of School Hours Care and having a strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards and “My Time Our Place” framework, you will build a strong community culture in the centre and school, liaising with parents and developing staff.

Hours of operation are:

• 2:00pm - 6:00pm Monday to Friday
• Varied during Vacation Care

This is a Permanent, Part-time role, minimum 52 hours a fortnight, potential to flex up in Vacation Care. 

Essential Requirements

• Preferred Certificate IV in School Age Education and Care
• Passionate individual driven to create a safe and welcome environment for children and families
• Experience leading a team through Assessment and Review, Regulations and My Time Our Place
• Experience working with additional needs children will be highly regarded 
• First Aid qualified or willing to obtain
• Holds Identify and respond to children and young people at risk or recognised equivalent
• The right candidate will also be willing to participate in further professional development
• Approved Child Protection Course to fulfil Nominated supervisor regulatory requirements
• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a supportive OSHC service
• Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework Standards
• Demonstrated experience in Assessment and Rating, as well as implementing and reviewing Policies and Procedures
