About The Role
Role Location: Melbourne OR Sydney
Role Type: Permanent, Full-time 

As a Data Business Analyst, you will look after the business engagement, functional requirements and implementation of the Customer Static Solution and/or the Regulatory aspect of the Global Markets Onboarding Platform. You are to engage with relevant business stakeholders for the continued local site roll out of these application, and then work closely with the delivery team as well as relevant Technology partners, to ensure timeliness and quality of the delivery. You are also expected to have excellent Business Analysis abilities through the entire project lifecycle, especially in terms of requirements gathering and documentation, business process impacts (“As Is” versus “To Be”), data mapping, user acceptance testing oversight, and training and implementation.

In this role, you will project manage required timelines, report into relevant governance forums and drive technology to deliver as per the business requirements of each local country and you will focus on ensuring business stakeholders are continually engaged and are prepared for all changes - good communication and documentation skills are essential

This role requires engagement with requisite risk, compliance and assurance teams and ensure that special consideration is given to local compliance requirements

About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have skills, knowledge and experience in the following:

• Extensive experience in business analytics in a Middle Office or Operations environment, ideally in a Change The Business or Customer Static function. Knowledgeable in business analysis tasks, elicitation techniques and competent in requirements gathering skills. Knowledgeable of some operations domain (confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, statistics) and Middle Office functions (transaction management or on-boarding)
• Good documentation skills: Analyze – business requirements document or functional requirements and data mapping; Test – test plans, System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) packs; Implementation – process maps, training materials, communications; and Governance reporting, stakeholder presentations
• Experience in working on projects and project managing small to medium initiatives. Solid understanding of project management life cycles, disciplines and procedures. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working on mid to large sized projects. Ability to work with Project Assurance to complete all necessary compliance artefacts
• Comfortable in running meetings with key business stakeholders. Ability to own and be responsible for deliveries assigned. Ability to understand and analyse complex issues and propose appropriate solutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with Business as well as Technology Stakeholders in the organization, including senior management
• Strong skillset on Data Extraction and Analysis including technical competencies with SQL (SQL Server Management), MS Excel VBA is an advantage.
