About the Job
We are seeking a Digital and Blended Learning Professional Development Specialist to project manage the design and introduction of a digital and blended learning professional development program for vocational education teaching staff. In this role you will work with the Learning Transformation Unit to identify the components of the program, pathways required, review current modules, develop new modules and package them into a logical development program.

Utilising substantial vocational education teaching and learning experience, this role will have a primary focus on ensuring VET teaching staff can access the required professional development and deliver innovative digital and blended learning teaching environments. You will support teachers as they move through the professional development pathway and provide academic leadership and support while building this capability in the VET teaching departments.

Reporting to the Manager, Learning Futures, you will manage and report on the project status including activities, timelines, risk, work plans and further opportunities. You will employ a highly collaborative approach while working with VET teaching staff and Learning Transformation Unit to upskill digital and blended learning competence.

The role is a fixed-term contract for a duration of 7 months.

About you
To be suitable for the role you will have:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor)
  • Preferably, AQF5 level (or above) Qualification in Education
  • Demonstrated ability to project manage initiatives in teaching environments
  • Apt understanding of digital and blended delivery in vocational education delivery
