Aboriginal Community Development Worker

About the role:

This role is focused on building and sustaining strong, positive relationships with the Aboriginal community. You’ll continue to build and maintain community networks to assist us in connecting and supporting Aboriginal families within the area.

About You:

• Aboriginality and demonstrated ability to build respectful relationships and maintain successful engagement with Aboriginal people, families and communities
• Able to consult and work in partnership with families, local services and community to identify needs and priorities.
• Connect families and community with services within Cabramatta Multicultural Family Centre
• Able to plan, facilitate and achieve outcomes in partnership with families
• Effectively collaborate with other programs within Cabramatta Multicultural Family Centre
• Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience with 2 years’ experience in the community development field.
