Reporting to the Banquet Manager, you will lead and run the day-to-day operations of Banquets for the Event Centre and The Star.

Some of the responsibilities of this role are:

  • Leading, motivating and engaging employees to continuously deliver extraordinary service.
  • Supervise the food and beverage stock, controlling costs, profit and loss expenses and wages through effective staffing levels
  • Assisting in the recruitment, training and development of the team (including performance reviews)
  • Communicating with business partners to ensure guest satisfaction is consistently achieved

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of banquets and events operations, including experience within a similar fast-paced high-volume environment.
