Technical Project Manager (54903)

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of some exciting projects within the HR (People & Culture Space). You will be a key part of ensuring the management and delivery of applications that are required to support our workforce of over 125,000 team members!

You will be joining the greater Corporate Systems team, which as part of the broader Technology team, are responsible for the development and support of applications across multiple parts of Coles including Finance, Procurement, People & Culture, Risk, Safety and Legal. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Ability to manage all aspects of a project including, planning, project cost, scope definition, stakeholder engagement, risk and issues, project reporting, team/resource management, and project close out.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and managed.
• Ability to guide and mentor a diverse and dispersed team
• Experience working in an Agile environment, and the ability to establish and follow lean processes to ensure high productivity.
• Previous experience working in a retail environment or within a large complex organisation is a huge bonus.

Good things you’ll need

• At least 5 years’ experience in an IT project management or senior delivery role
• Proven Project Management skills
• Senior stakeholder management experience
• Experience with delivery of projects through practical Agile & Lean methodologies
• Formal Project Management accreditation
• Successfully managed complex projects that involve multiple cross functional areas, teams (including vendors), technologies and critical systems.
• Experience working in SAP and or a SuccessFactors environment desirable (but not essential).
