Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, the Regulatory Advisor will represent The Star in communications and interactions with the casino regulator and other regulatory authorities and provide support to operational departments to manage their regulatory obligations and requirements.

The successful candidate will handle administrative requirements relating to gaming product, process change submissions to the casino regulator as well as responding to formal requests for information from regulatory bodies.

What will my day look like?

  • Collate and review records and information for formal responses to regulators
  • Draft gaming product and process change submissions for approval by the casino regulator (including for Electronic Gaming and Table Games products)
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, such as the Accredited Testing Facilities and the casino regulator
  • Assist the team with updating Internal Controls when required
  • Work collaboratively with other internal departments and collate information to help with drafting responses to regulatory requests
  • Work collaboratively with other internal departments on gaming and non-gaming projects
  • Complete ad-hoc projects work as required

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • High standards of personal integrity and confidentiality
  • Experience in gaming operations or gaming finance with a strong technical knowledge
  • A can-do attitude and dedicated approach to complete tasks
  • An eye for detail and be confident to recommend changes across the business
  • Gaming Experience preferred with experience working in a highly regulated environment
  • Understanding of relevant statutory and reporting requirements

This is a licensed role and will require you to have / obtain an SE/CE license.

Flexible full-time work hours will be considered for the true team player.
