The Star Sydney is hiring a Program Office Administrator to be responsible for the day-to-day administration and coordination of projects, assisting the Portfolio Performance Manager in the governance of stakeholder activities.

A key role involves liaising with internal business functions to ensure project timeline, budgetary and compliance requirements are met. Through project management tools and strong stakeholder management, you will be supporting them in the continuous improvement of project delivery capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively collaborate with relevant stakeholders to govern the end-to-end project lifecycle 
  • Govern all project activities through tools and documentation to ensure adherence to project management gating requirements
  • Review project management tools to ensure compliance obligations across business units are clearly articulated and plans are developed to meet these
  • Inform stakeholders of the implications of any system changes, coordinating the sign-off of requirements and final products
  • Manage the documentation and reporting of project communications to align with the agreed timeframes

What are we looking for?

  • Strong stakeholder management, time management and planning skills
  • Demonstrated experience in administration and documenting
  • Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate meetings
  • Desirable experience in business case development and technology organisations
  • Computer literacy skills (Intermediate/advanced skills in MS Office Suite)
