Senior Mixologist

We are looking for a Senior Mixologist to join our team at The Star Gold Coast. Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, you will support the Food & Beverage operations and leadership team in developing unique and bespoke beverage lists, guest experiences and ensure an efficient and effective beverage operation. In this role, you will maintain supplier relationships and ensure contractual obligations are met to the highest standards.

What are we looking for?

• A strong technical skillset focused on mixology, menu engineering and strong understanding of category knowledge
• Demonstrated capability in creating cocktail menus for Restaurants and Bars, ensuring operational and commercial effectiveness
• Experience with facilitating basic bar and cocktail training
• Supervisory/management experience in high-end bars highly regarded
• Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing products and managing operating expenses
• Keeping up with the latest market trends, consumer knowledge and pioneering original ideas
• Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Management of Licensed Venues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexible availability, including weekends, to meet business demands
