About the RoleÂ
We are currently seeking Male Peer Support Workers (PSW) and Male Community Rehabilitation Support Workers (CRSW) to join our Non-Acute Psychosocial Support program and our Intensive Crisis Support programs (full time, permanent positions available)
The successful candidates will provide human rights based and recovery-orientated psychosocial support to individuals who have not evaluated their eligibility or have been declared ineligible for National Disability Insurance Scheme services. These services are delivered throughout the Eastern, Central Adelaide and Southern Metro regions. Experience and knowledge of service provision and available resources in this area is highly desirable. Support services include home based outreach and connection of clients with their local community.Â
Previous experience supporting adults with mental illness, at varying stages of recovery, using strength-based approaches is highly regarded.
