About the role

Working in our Shared Services team you will provide end to end transactional service delivery across payroll.  This is a permanent full time role where you can work from anywhere in NSW or Victoria. Whilst this position can work remotely there will be times you will need to come in to one of our offices including occasional travel to Newcastle NSW for training or team meetings.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Processing salaries and wages with our fortnightly pay run and off cycles
  • Key employee life cycle processes including maintenance of employee records such as on-boarding, contract variations, terminations and organisational chart impacts
  • Provide strong customer service to all employees regarding their payroll enquiries via phone and email
  • Ensuring your industry knowledge on payroll matters is up to date and current

 Skills & Experience

  • Be able to demonstrate interest in starting or progressing your career in Payroll services
  • Demonstrated experience or ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel and other software applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy working with high volumes of data
  • Experience working to deadlines and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mind set and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to provide a high level of customer service

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
