About the role 

Joining a national team within our Centre for Practice Excellence, you will lead the co-design, facilitation and delivery of professional learning in order to develop the capability of our disability and mental health workforce, ensuring the people we support are at the centre.

The successful candidate will be confident in facilitating learning and delivering training. An understanding of or previous experience in the community services sector will be beneficial. This is a permanent full-time position that can be based anywhere in our national foot print with flexibility to work from home. However, travel will be required to provide training in person.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and deliver learning and development activities in person and virtually
  • Work with subject matter experts to design learning aligned with organisational needs
  • Support frontline leaders to develop confident and skilled, person-centred teams
  • Stay up to date on relevant sector practices
  • Implement evidence informed learning practices in all learning activities
  • Contribute to the evaluation of learning delivery, ensuring ongoing best practice

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in delivering interactive, engaging and effective learning
  • Confident in public speaking and high-level facilitation skills
  • Previous experience (or a strong interest) in the disability and mental health sectors
  • Comfortable with technology and delivery of online learning
  • Understanding of learning principles, design and delivery
  • Relationships focus and ability to lead co-design processes with varied stakeholders
  • Current drivers licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
