As a Mockingbird Family Liaison Officer, you will provide oversight and supervision of a Mockingbird Family Constellation through the direct supervision of the Hub Home Provider and participation in Constellation activities. This role is based in our Leederville Office, Perth and is a permanent part-time role 30 hours per week. This is an innovative and exciting way of supporting foster carers at Life Without Barriers.
The Family Liaison Officer is key in the development of a healthy community of foster and kinship carers focused on the health, safety, growth and permanence of participating children and young people.
A Mockingbird Family Liaison Officer, is a cornerstone of our Mockingbird Family Constellation program. You will operate as the primary contact between MOCKINGBIRD FAMILY Constellations and LWB. Reviewing Hub Home Provider reports on Constellation activities, attendance and participation of Constellation in activities in events, respite that occurs, family visits, training conducted (including delivering TCI) and periodically participate in monthly Constellation meetings and assist with the coordination of these activities.
