About the role

Newly created position to provide project management for the implementation of hybrid facilities management processes and systems across Life Without Barriers. This is a hands on position that will require you to be in the detail.  This a 9  month maximum term full time contract which can be located Newcastle, Melbourne or Sydney. You can work from where you are most productive, whether that be from your home or one of our offices, however, there may be times where you are required in the office, and intermittent interstate travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the design and build deployment of the project utilising project management systems, tools and change management frameworks
  • Create project briefs and service proposals detailing scope, deliverables, high-level solution options, project plans, and resource estimates with required skills
  • Prepare project status reports
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Project team members
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders nationally

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in project management or similar areas
  • Hands on Project Manager experience with large, national projects with strong stakeholder engagement and outcomes
  • Significant experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on collaboration and positive outcomes
  • Ability to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and to quality standards
  • Proficient ability in the use of MS Office suite of programs

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check.
