About the role


In this role you will create and oversee employee rosters, dedicated to meeting the specific needs of our Children and Young People by appropriately staffing our residential Intensive Therapeutic Care services. Applying your high developed interpersonal skills, you will foster confidence and trust among internal managers and team members, all while ensuring that our employees are scheduled in a manner that upholds and advances workforce sustainability.

 

This Permanent Full-Time position offers flexibility, allowing you to work from anywhere within NSW, either from home or your preferred office location.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain staffing rosters in accordance with the needs of Children and Young People, funding allocations, budget, employee conditions and award requirements.
  • Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders as required in response to workforce/roster changes, roster concerns and complaints
  • Manage employee availability and leave calendars in consultation with leaders
  • Escalate rostering and staff skill gaps, and work with line managers to identify solutions

Skills & Experience  

  • Prior experience within high volume rostering, scheduling and/or workforce planning role
  • Previous experience in the utilisation of rostering software systems (MS Teams rostering experience if preferred)
  • Demonstrated understanding of the SCHADS award, HSE and workforce management principles
  • Demonstrate experience managing competing priorities to deliver outcomes within required timeframes
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cohesively within a team environment and with autonomy

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where applicable to role)
