About the role

Working within our Business Support team within Shared Services, you will be responsible for providing 1st and some 2nd level support to our HRIS and Finance systems, including Kronos (which we use for Award Interpretation, rostering/scheduling, and time and attendance), Aurion, iPOS, Expense8, and SCP.

You will also support and participate in other project related activities within Business Support and the wider Shared Services team.

This is a permanent full-time role with flexible location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide frontline support and administration of our core systems; HRIS, Finance, ticketing
  • Action and escalate tasks received through tickets, calls, meetings, emails
  • Assist in the collection and collation of transactional data
  • Complete all transactional / data entry processes in compliance with LWB policy, procedures and practices, external funding body requirements and relevant legislation
  • Assist the Functional Administrators in:
    • Tasks relating to config, award interpretation, rostering
    • Upgrades, roll-outs, roll-backs
    • BAU and Project deliverables
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders (Shared Services, ICT, PSC and beyond) to assist ensuring HRIS solutions match business requirements
  • Document system diagrams and flows, processes and procedures, user guides and training materials, testing (end-to-end, UAT etc.), and communications
  • Provide training to end-users as needed
  • Work with stakeholders to understand feedback and suggested improvements to customer service
  • Utilise system and business knowledge to assist end users in optimising use of the systems and ensure legislative compliance
  • Provide ad hoc support to Shared Services management

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience providing systems support for any of IT, Payroll, HR and/or labour management systems, preferably Kronos
  • Exceptional communication skills, including written and verbal
  • Demonstrated experience providing timely and accurate customer service and support in high transaction environment
  • Demonstrated experience in working with attention to detail, accuracy and managing sensitive and confidential information
  • Demonstrated experience in working to deadlines and prioritising tasks
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills and customer service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines and produce quality work

Successful candidate will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
