The Star Brisbane, positioned at the heart of the new Queens Wharf Brisbane precinct, will be Australias newest entertainment and leisure destination. Commencing a staged opening in 2024, The Star Brisbane will bring a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre, transforming how people will play, shop and socialise in the river city.?
In your role you will initially have the opportunity to work across Treasury Brisbane whilst being involved in the opening of The Star Brisbane.?
The Storeperson, reporting to the Senior Storeperson will be responsible for the storage and distribution of goods from the warehouse and loading dock to all business units. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test.
Your key responsibilities:?
Accept and unload deliveries in a safe and timely manner
Conduct comprehensive inspections of all goods to ensure quality satisfies agreed specifications
Maintain accurate inventory records
Participate in regular physical stocktakes
Timely delivery of perishable stock items to designated departments
Ensure procedures are followed for issuing and returning goods
What we are looking for:
Proficiency in written and spoken English
Experience in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook and Excel
Current WHS Forklift license?
Inventory Control administration experience?
