Join our team as the Dock Supervisor at The Star Brisbane. Our breathtaking resort, positioned at the heart of the new Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, will commence a staged opening in 2024, bringing a range of unique entertainment options, world class hotels, dining, bars, luxury retail, gaming and a state-of-the-art Event Centre to the river city.??

The Dock Supervisor reports directly to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager and offers an opportunity to join the Queen’s Wharf Pre-Opening team, taking operational ownership of the loading dock, including our MobileDOCK operating system. This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for Warehouse and Logistics.??

Your key responsibilities???

• Implement and maintain the MobileDOCK system operation, ensuring data integrity and provide recommendations on process improvements??? 

• Ensure detailed and accurate reporting of all incidents, hazards and near misses and take necessary actions to reduce future risks?? 

• Facilitate regular training and updates on WHS, compliance and legislation requirements across the loading dock?? 

• Liaise with the Security team and other departments to permit access to the loading dock after hours within policies and procedures?? 

• Ensure the safety of all people traffic within and around the loading dock in line with WHS standards?? 

• This position will also ensure the accuracy of the supplier and carrier configuration set up in line with booking compliance for traffic and safety management obligations.? 

What we will be looking for?? 

• Minimum 5 years in transport / warehousing and / or supply chain experience?? 

• Certificate in transport/warehouse/distribution principals??? 

• Current WHS Forklift license?? 

• Transport Management Systems experience?? 

• Chain of Responsibility Certification/Knowledge??

You will be an experienced warehousing and supply chain specialist and demonstrate significant expertise with Transport Management Systems implementation and reporting. You will understand the importance of leading by example and encouraging open communication throughout the team and key stakeholders.?
