Located in the heart of Rozelle on Darling Street, the Sackville Hotel has been a stalwart of the community since 1876. 

For years it has been the place for locals to get together over a good old fashioned schooner, to eat delicious food, watch the biggest sporting events and dance the night away.  

The Sackville caters to all, with a bustling bistro, a dynamic sports bar, a VIP gaming room, a boutique bottle shop and a new restaurant - Chez Blue.   
Having made its debut to the Sackville in 2023, Chez Blue is our casual neighbourhood french bistrot, which showcases Parisian inspired dishes in a relaxed setting.   
 
Adjoining the pub is The Sackville Bottle Shop, which has long been famous for its quality, selection, pricing and of course, customer service. Patrons can take home their favourite Pinot and chat to our friendly staff. 
An incredible opportunity has become available for a General Manager to lead, mentor and grow with us across this exciting multi-faceted venue.  
 
The Role 
 
As General Manager, you will be at the helm of The Sackville Hotel and be responsible for the overall management and performance of the venue.    
    
Your role will involve all of the venue essentials including overseeing the daily operations within public bar and Chez Blue, driving venue profitability, overseeing venue financials, partnering with marketing on new promotions, back of house administration and banking, training and developing the team, hiring staff, rostering and ensuring the guest experience is memorable each time.  
This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned General Manager or 2IC, with a background leading high end pubs or restaurants, to drive service excellence across our multi-faceted venue and to build solid relationships within our local community.
