As a Field Services Engineer reporting into the Product Lead for End User Technologies, you will help Support the Star Entertainment business through the flawless execution of specialised IT Field Service Engineer tasks.

 

A few of your responsibilities

  • Provide timely and efficient I.T service resolution for supported equipment as required
  • Ensure strict adherence to escalation procedures and strong engagement with other key stakeholders - I.T Operations / I.T Service Management / I.T Service Centre / Business Property Services
  • Deployment of new and replacement I.T equipment
  • Configuration of I.T equipment
  • Ability to asses need for system reconfigurations (minor or significant)
  • Ensure that desktop performance and reliability is maintained within agreed service levels

 

What we are looking for

  • 2-3 years minimum in I.T Service support – with a working technical knowledge of networks, PCs / peripherals and platform Operating Systems and associated hardware
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Casino related industry experience desirable
  • Experience within a customer service organisation
  • Certifications / Methodology with ITIL Foundations is desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology / MCSE / MCSA or CCNA certification advantageous would be desirable but not essential

Your proactive problem-solving approach helps prevent potential incidents, enhancing efficiency and ensuring smooth project execution. Your ability to navigate complex situations effectively is a testament to your strong communication and problem-solving skills. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our IT Operations and Services and reduce the impact for all technology Incidents. Join us in making a difference.
