About the Role 
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the Department of Nursing and Allied Health. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building curriculum, undertaking research and growing physiotherapy placement capacity in collaborating with key stakeholders, including the Discipline Lead and Course Director.

This position offers flexibility, welcoming part-time and job share arrangements for physiotherapists seeking to blend clinical practice with academia. As a Senior Lecturer, you will lead the way in shaping the future of physiotherapy education, utilizing innovative teaching methods and contributing to curriculum development aligned with our schools strategic vision.

You will have the opportunity to mentor colleagues and inspire students through engaging education and research initiatives. From developing blended learning materials to undertaking research with impact, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the field of Physiotherapy within our School of Health Sciences.


About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Demonstrated experience in tertiary teaching including a record of co-ordination, teaching and curriculum development.
  • Demonstrated capacity to build research teams and partnerships and in practice research supervision to achieve high impact research outcomes.
  • A track record of leading, planning, supervising and conducting physiotherapy or related research.
  • Experience in sourcing clinical partnerships and supporting student placements.
  • Interest in the application of technologies to improve health practice.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in physiotherapy. 

 

Qualifications

  • A PhD in Physiotherapy or relevant field.
  • AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist.
