About the Role 
Join Swinburne University of Technology as our Change Practice Lead and make a significant impact on our organizations transformation journey. As a senior leader, you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing our enterprise change management capability. Reporting to the Deputy Director, Portfolio and Project Delivery, you will lead a centralised change team within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (ePMO) function.

In this role, you will provide strategic guidance, tools, and governance to support change initiatives across the university. You will play a key role in assessing and developing the change capability requirements and roadmap for the organization, ensuring the successful delivery of projects. Additionally, you will establish an organizational Change Management Centre of Excellence, driving the adoption of a standardized and people-focused change methodology and toolset.

As the Change Practice Lead, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to build change management capabilities within leaders, change practitioners, and employees. You will also be responsible for the people leadership of the change team, ensuring adequate staffing to meet project demands and driving recruitment, induction, and performance management processes.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

  • Extensive and broad change management experience across all areas of organisational change including large scale IT projects.  
  • Experience in Human Centered Design, LEAN and/or Design Thinking 
  • Experience in a organisational change management, relating to organisational re-design, culture and target operating model implementations 
  • Experience in building change capability in large organisation 
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

 

Qualifications

  • Post graduate qualifications in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Relevant Change Management qualifications (PROSCI desirable)
