About the Role 
We have an exciting opportunity available for a dynamic individual to join the esteemed Student Administration and Library Services team as a Scheduling Officer.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with school stakeholders and professional departments to craft academic and exam timetables. Under the guidance of Scheduling Services Specialists and Coordinators, you will contribute to the seamless planning and execution of exams, resource organization, and ad-hoc event bookings. 

Additionally, you will assist in coordinating invigilated exams, scheduling space resources, and managing facilities within relevant system databases in partnership with key stakeholders. 

This position may require the incumbent to work non-standard hours during peak periods. This will be managed by the universities policy regarding Time off in Lieu (TOIL) and Overtime.

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing with academic, management and administrative staff, including the preparation of clear reports.
  • Have a positive, pro-active and energetic manner when dealing with situations in environments which are sometimes high pressure, with the ability to retain a professional manner.
  • Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Syllabus Plus, Exam Scheduler, Student One or similar application, and high-level proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

Qualifications
A degree without subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in a related field.
