About the Role

The Youth Work Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring Youth Worker rosters, transport services and 24/7 residential shifts within Life Without Barriers policies and procedures. This role has a large focus on the rostering and recruitment.

This position is being offered on a Permanent Part-Time basis located at our office in Deception Bay. Work days will be Mondays and Fridays (full day), with the ability to negotiate on additional days.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Prepare rosters to ensure risks are managed and staff levels reflect the needs of clients.
  • Monitor and support the coordination of new Youth Workers, including induction and onboarding.
  • Complete timesheets and approvals in Kronos.
  • Monitor schedules (such as grey fleet, probity) for the program.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in disability or health-related fields with strong coordination skills
  • Demonstrated leadership within a professional framework
  • Strong verbal, interactive, and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills for positive professional relationships and problem-solving
  • Knowledgeable about child protection and in-home/out-of-home care programs
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and national/state standards
  • Current Drivers Licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
