House Person - The Star Grand

As a House Person, you will maintain the entire hotel space including the corridors and balconies. This position is a physically demanding role which requires a high level of attention to detail but is very rewarding with a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day!

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will showcase how we take good care of our guests throughout their stay.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Clean corridors, balconies, windows, carpets, hard floors, service areas and pantries
• Log and report any lost property found to lost property department
• Stock pantries with required linen and guest supplies
• Dispatch and receive guests laundry
• Remove rubbish from service areas and pantries

What are we looking for:

• Flexible availability across a 7-day roster
• Previous experience in hotel cleaning or heavy manual labour (highly desired)
• Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to work both solo and as part of large team
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods (desired but not essential)
