TALENT ONBOARDING COORDINATOR – TALENT ACQUISITION

As our Talent Onboarding Coordinator, reporting to the Talent Onboarding Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process for all new starters, internal transfers, and contractors within The Star.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team and play a pivotal role in supporting the engagement of every candidate, from the moment they are selected for a position to joining us on their first day.

 

This role is a 6-month full-time opportunity based in Gold Coast.

 

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Conduct and complete all required probity checks for new starters, internal transfers, and contractors.
  • Execute to a high standard, managing data entry in the tracking systems with attention to detail, ensuring that probity checks are conducted accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments, Licensing, Investigations, Employee Relations and external agencies, Equifax, and Federal Police, to facilitate background checks and any other necessary screenings.
  • Ensure Compliance and Regulatory knowledge by staying up to date with relevant policies, procedures, legal requirements, and compliance standards related to The Star talent acquisition and onboarding process.
  • Communicate with new hires, internal transfers, and contractors to collect, review, and process their documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

 

What we will be looking for:

  • HR tertiary degree or similar qualifications advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume HR administrative role in a regulatory environment.
  • High attention to detail, proficient data entry, and meticulous record keeping.
  • Previous experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Excel.
  • Experience in a high volume and fast-paced recruitment environment.
  • Experience working in a centralised or shared services talent function beneficial.
