Exciting, fixed term opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Hairdressing Teacher where you will be sharing and teaching your knowledge and expertise in the classroom!
As the Hairdressing Teacher, you will be creating a safe and supportive learning environment for all students and adapting teaching materials and delivery to maximise the opportunities for training and increase employability for our students!
You will be delivering innovative sessions to engage students and support their goals in becoming qualified in their chosen field! This is a fantastic opportunity to support the students who are keen to learn from passionate teachers!
The Teacher – Hairdressing is one of several positions in the Beauty unit of the Faculty of Creative Industries & ICT. The position reports to the Coordinator - Hair and is responsible for liaising with students, relevant industry groups, community services providers, overseas partners and employees of BHI at all levels.
The Faculty of ICT, Business, Sport, Creative Industries provides a wide range of teaching and learning programs at local and international campuses. The Faculty delivers nationally recognised training to over 1,200 students in courses ranging from Certificates to Diplomas, Bachelor Degrees and post graduate programs.
This role is fixed term until December 2024.
