About the role:

An exciting ongoing opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Senior Business Support Officer!

Within this role you will be responsible for managing the College's financial, administration and student administration functions and coordinating the activities of the College's management team to ensure the effective delivery of BHI's programs within the Foundation Education College.  

The Senior Business Support Officer reports to the Director Foundation Education College and is required to ensure that BHI retains its pre-eminent position as a quality education provider and is a first choice for education and training. This involves maintaining productive relationships with the relevant employers, industries, governments and relevant agencies, and managing employees and resources involved in the administration processes to ensure achievement of quality outcomes for all students.

This position is ongoing and salary for this role is PACCT 7 level $86,530.00 per annum (exclusive of superannuation).

About You:

•    A relevant qualification in a Business Administration or Financial Management discipline or equivalent.
•    Extensive experience in managing business support employees and a range of administrative services including student administration, budget planning and monitoring and financial administration.
•    Strong skills in computer and financial systems including ability to develop and implement procedures to ensure consistent use of these systems within a team. 
•    Ability to ensure achievement of successful team outcomes and the development of a high performing team within a large organisation.
•    Demonstrated analytical and conceptual skills to reason through problems and develops innovative solutions to improve business process. 
•    Proven success in implementing strategies and utilise a variety of tailored influencing approaches, effectively negotiating with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
