About the Role 
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Cyber Security Analyst.

You will play a critical role in the Cyber Resilience Program, responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of Program’s cyber solutions. This includes establishing and defining the BA approach and plan, followed by the elicitation, analysis and documentation of end-to-end business requirements and acceptance criteria.   

The Cyber Analyst works collaborative with members of the Program and CISO Team to ensure Program’s solutions are fit for purpose to Swinburne’s cyber resilience needs and are appropriately complete to be adopted by Operations teams. In addition to managing solution scope and requirements, the role is expected to maintain requirements for re-use, requirements traceability and identify and analyse risks developing mitigation plan.  

About You  
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

•    Lead the gathering and analysis of technical and business requirements to support adoption of Program initiatives. 
•    Ensure that all requirements are well-defined, comprehensive, and aligned with the Swinburne’s Cyber Resilience strategic goals. 
•    Analyse business objectives and translate them into actionable technical requirements. 
•    Develop, in collaboration with cybersecurity and Program teams the design of technical solutions. Identify potential risks associated with each initiative. 
•    Ensure all Program adopted solutions are risk assessed, and risk mitigated prior to solution being released to production environment. 
•    Responsible for the development and implementation of Program policies and procedures
•    Develop and nurture productive relationships with colleagues across Swinburne, with emphasis on values of trust, collaboration, and shared leadership

Qualifications

•    Postgraduate qualification or progress towards a postgraduate qualification and extensive relevant experience gained through working in a university, corporate or government environment; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.   
•    Hold relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
