About the job
In this position, you will work across all government, industry and philanthropic grant schemes, both nationally and internationally (less than 500K), as well as Swinburne internal schemes and programs. You will be responsible for coordinating and administering the review of grant applications for eligibility and compliance, the lodgement of all applications and providing support and advice to the research community on all grant scheme funding rules and post award requirements.

A particular responsibility will be to undertake continuous improvement of internal processes to ensure timely review, and contribute to increasing the number of high quality, compliant grant applications submitted to funding bodies. You will also develop supporting materials, which can be used to educate researchers and research coordinators in understanding funding rules across all approved grant schemes.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • An undergraduate degree with relevant experience of an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/ or training and education
  • Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination, administration and support, preferable in research grants administration or other complex funding programs role.
