If you do, Swinburne’s Health, Science and Community department are looking for teachers to begin teaching the Certificate IV/Diploma of Community Services.

Our community services teachers are expected to share their experience and knowledge with students, and encourage them to successfully obtain their qualifications and succeed in a rewarding career. Our community services teachers work within a passionate team of teachers. Within this team they plan deliver, assess, evaluate and ensure compliance of high quality education programs. About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116): or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 and TAEASS502 or equivalent units.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working within the Community Services Sector.
  • Demonstrated excellence or capacity to implement high quality teaching and assessment, using a variety of learning modes, which respond to diverse student learning needs.
  • Understanding of current VET policy and developments and innovative approaches to vocational education and training.
