About the Job
As a Senior Application Analyst you play an integral part in the university’s operations by supporting Finance business processes and providing data between the many applications used by the University. You will analyse and define business requirements, support user testing and business process re-engineering with the end-user in mind.

You will work in partnership with stakeholders and colleagues to develop improvements to the numerous applications employed across the University. The emphasis for this role is to support systems that service the University Finance function, but can expand to support of systems servicing other functions.

In this role you sit within the Application Services team who strive to provide seamless integration across the many application delivery approaches that we take to ensure operational efficiency for University staff and provide an excellent student experience. Examples of these approaches include: Software as a Service, Platform as a Service, in-house hosted third party systems and in-house developments.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Relevant qualification in Accounting and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Experience using and supporting Finance One module (Technology One).
• Experience creating and maintaining Enterprise Budgeting models
• Experience creating and maintaining Business Intelligence Dashboards
• Strong understanding of ETL processes. Experience in designing, developing and implementing well integrated processes.
• Demonstrated experience in software incident management and problem management including investigation, resolution and communication.
