About the Job
It is an exciting time to join the Marketing Analytics team and we are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst. This role will work with the team to deliver analytical and decision services to inform Swinburne’s Marketing strategy and optimisation of marketing efforts through conducting detailed analyses and optimisation using the Adobe Marketing Cloud suite of tools and, where appropriate, secondary data sources to enhance insight.

Using your proven expertise in marketing and/or customer analytics, you will provide structured and data-backed analytics solutions to optimise marketing effectiveness and campaign return on investment. The role demands an innovative approach with evolving analytical techniques and technologies to develop true end-to-end views of the customer experience and outcomes to inform marketing effectiveness.

The role requires that you build a strong rapport with a variety of stakeholders by providing advice on complex issues and acting as a trusted and authoritative business partner on all marketing and customer analytics related aspects. The role interfaces closely with both the marketing team and business analytics team as well as IT and is an excellent opportunity to broaden your skillset by gaining further exposure to the Adobe Marketing Cloud suite.

This role will contribute to a streamlined and enriched student experience within the Students portfolio and is located within the Marketing, Recruitment and Channel Integration area. Other areas within this portfolio include Student Administration & Library Services; Student and Academic Services; and Media and External Communications.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
• Relevant qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training, with minimum degree level (or equivalent) and demonstrated in-depth numerical and analytical skills
• Substantial relevant experience in digital / marketing / customer analytics 
• Demonstrated experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis to facilitate business decision-making with strong modelling skills and the ability to proactively tackle issues and opportunities from new and creative perspectives
• Strong client engagement and relationship management skills (with a particular focus across marketing and/or digital) with the ability to consult with marketing stakeholders to map project deliverables and advise on suitable approaches
