About the role and college / portfolio: 

The School of Science provides over 45 bachelor and postgraduate programs, and undertakes world class research across the disciplines of Biosciences and Food Technology, Chemistry and Environmental Science, Physics, Mathematical Sciences, Geospatial Sciences and Computer Science (Information Technology and Software Engineering).

The Work Integrated Learning Officer will provide administrative support to the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) aspects of programs within the School, as directed by the Manager, Academic & Student Operations. This role will see you provide a high level of administrative support in line with RMIT policies and procedures, as well as use the WIL database to ensure that the data is accurate and up-to-date.

About you: 

  • Experience in working accurately with detailed information and providing high-level administrative support within a university or similar large and complex organization.
  • Expertise in the provision of customer service including sound knowledge and consistent application of policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, including a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • High level interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with a range of partners.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills. 

Qualifications: 

  • Degree qualification in a relevant Science discipline and/or proven experience in tertiary sector and/or business environment
