ANZ Emerging Corporate specialises in providing a range of tailored solutions that help our customers manage their cash flow and working capital requirements, along with providing support to business owners to help them achieve their strategic plans and growth aspirations. Our customers are Australian based family owned and corporate businesses with debt requirements of up to AUD$40 million.

The purpose of the Relationship Credit Assistant Manager role is to assist the Relationship Manager and the Relationship Credit Manager with the broader credit assessment functions of a client set, in addition to ensuring a 'well managed' portfolio. The position also liaises directly with clients and internal teams with regard to day-to-day requirements

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing support to and collaborate with the Relationship Manager to achieve business objectives.
  • Build collaborative relationships with Product Partners, Relationship Management, Client Services, and Credit Executives to assist with the delivery of customer solutions.
  • Liaising with clients and Credit Executives to ensure periodic reviews of customers’ operating and financial performance are completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide recommendations based on analysis of a client’s medium to long term prospects taking into account broader industry and economic conditions.
  • Perform ongoing “real time” client risk analysis based upon available information and industry trends with a view to consider the impact on customers’ key credit risks.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of a customer’s industry and associated markets.
  • Ensure data integrity in all core systems and documentation in conjunction with Client Services
About You 

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and demonstrated excellent customer focus;
  • The ability to work autonomously; work within teams with proven analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills; Degree in a business related discipline
  • Sound financial analysis skills with the ability to write and present a well-motivated risk assessment and business proposition
  • Good relationship management and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to be organized and to be detail-oriented
