About the Job
We are seeking an accomplished Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our Centre for Design Innovation (CDI) located in the Future Self Living Lab Program. As the Research Fellow you will support existing research agendas within the Centre and play a vital role in combining major aspects of a research project and coordinating research across the two disciplines of design and software engineering.

You will be involved in developing, conducting and project managing a 2-year funded project with older adults which will investigate the concept of engagement in technology development and use through motivational modelling. The successful appointee will collaborate with industry partners and members of the community and assist with supervising and mentoring PhD students.

Making a significant contribution to the daily project management activities including data collection and analysis, the Reseach Fellow will act as a member of an interdisciplinary team in order to support meeting CDI objectives. In this role, you will maintain and build on your scholarly, research and professional expertise.

About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
  • A PhD in Software Engineering, HCI, Design or another related discipline
  • An understanding of user requirements and experience with conducting user studies
  • A demonstrated publication record as evidenced by a track record of peer-reviewed articles
  • An ability to create reports and extensive literature reviews
