The Global Markets MTM is a delivery focused global team of independent specialists to facilitate the Global Markets regional strategy and improve internal and external customer experience through:
  • Supporting new and current business activity (new clients, new product and new trade flow)

Global Markets Front Office Support team is a cross asset vertical within the Global Markets MTM structure & is responsible for:
 
Providing support to the business through controlled trade capture assistance, execution of controlled lifecycle management, process enhancements covering STP initiatives & management of escalations raised via Operations, Product Control, Assurance, and Technology, for issue resolution.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
FX, Commodities, Rates & Credit- Trading, Sales Support & Client Service
  • As a Manager for ANZ Front Office and Client Support, focus on supporting the Front Office Support Team to perform the day to day business processes as well as play a proactive role in identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce operational risk, fte savings and cost savings for the business.
  • You will act as a subject matter expert, contribute to new product development and implementation of systems enhancements is part of this role. Product scope within this mandate includes Interest Rate Swap, Cross Currency Swaps, Bond, Repo, Options & Futures, ABS, Total Return Swap and FX & FX Options etc.
  • You will work closely with various stakeholders including Sales and Structuring, Trading, Markets Operations, Product Control, Market Risk, Joint Venture businesses and project management teams.
  • You will also support the Front Office business units to achieve their annual budget by effectively performing the daily processing which includes but not limited to trade rebooking, trade lifecycle management, funding and liquidity management and efficient resolution of issues.
  • You will identify and be involved in the implementation of controls to eliminate any financial loss resulting from operational errors as well as participate in rolling out the desks new sales initiatives such as new product approvals.
  • You will work closely with the Sales and Trading desks as well as other enablement areas to identify and resolve issues for the business from front to back.
  • You will contribute and perform User Acceptance Testing for key project delivery. This will include any new product initiatives, system enhancements, booking model revisions and workflow changes etc.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have skills, knowledge and experience in the following:
  • Evident past experience of having worked in an Rates, Credit Derivatives, FX Middle office/ Client Service Support environment
  • Knowledge of Murex and broker execution platforms will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial process design and/or re-engineering
  • Experience in Funding and liquidity management would be advantageous
  • Experience in programming (i.e VBA, Python, R) would be advantageous.
